Up to $120 Off Disney Gift Cards During Early Black Friday Sale, Made Easier with Walmart’s Plus Promo
There’s a new deal starting soon for Disney gift cards, offering 10% off or up to $120 in savings at Sam’s Club. This covers discount details, plus a similar sale for select restaurants at Walt Disney World, and more you need to know about buying and using these GCs. Plus, why you might want to skip this one despite it being an excellent sale unless you take advantage of another deal that’ll make this one much easier.
If you’re looking for ways to save on gift cards at other retailers, check out our comprehensive Money-Saving Tips for Discount Disney Gift Cards. That covers Kroger, Target, Costco, Best Buy, Meijer and more. We’ve also been sharing deals on gift cards for third party restaurateurs that operate at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
That gift card buying guide includes everything from straightforward sales to more complicated ways to stack savings (e.g. cash back sites, credit card bonuses, etc). This post is shorter and sweeter, focusing on the limited-time sales at Sam’s Club in November 2026.
Before we dig into that, I want to rewind one year and draw your attention to last November’s Scorching Sale on Disney Gift Cards at Target. Aside from this summer’s free money glitch, that was the best deal we’ve seen in ages. Honestly, we still cannot believe that not only did it work and stack so well, but that it lasted so long.
We thought for sure it was a price mistake that would be closed in hours, but nope. That it lasted so long suggests that, unlike the free money loophole, it was a purposeful sale. In turn, that means it could return in November 2026. There have actually been a lot of good deals on Disney gift cards in 2026, so we’re optimistic about what Black Friday and the holiday season as a whole hold.
We’ll be watching closely for new gift card deals and already have multiple alerts set up. If you spot a gift card deal that we’ve yet to cover, please leave a comment (ideally on a recent post, even if unrelated) or shoot me an email. It would be greatly appreciated, especially as we head into the heart of the (busy) holiday season.
This limited-time sale via Sam’s Club offers 10% off, which is not as good as last year’s Target deal but still fantastic by Disney gift cards standards. We jump on discounts offering 8-10% off, especially since virtually every Disney gift card deal has purchase limits.
You’ll typically be capped at $800 to $1,000 worth of gift cards with any deal, and it’s very easy to spend that much or more at Walt Disney World. We’re emphasizing this because our point about the Target deal above wasn’t that you should wait for a better deal–as you absolutely should not–but that we all need to be on high alert for bargains.
Usually, the best sales happen between November and mid-December, so we’re coming up on the most magical time of year for Disney dealhounds. We share all of the gift card sales, so subscribe to our free email newsletter for a heads up when more Disney gift card deals go live.
Sam’s Club Early Black Friday Disney Gift Card Deal
Sam’s Club will have $300 Disney eGift Card on sale for $270, which is 10% off!
This is an Online Weekend Doorbuster sale that will start on November 5, 2026 at 9 p.m. Eastern for Sam’s Club Plus members. Following that, it’ll be available to all Sam’s Club Members starting on November 6, 2026 and running through November 8, 2026.
In terms of the fine print, you’re limited to a maximum of 4 per order and 4 per membership on Disney eGift Cards. So $1,200 worth of digital Disney gift cards for $1,080, or $120 off. No matter how you slice it–up to $120 off or 10% off–that’s a great discount on a high denomination amount.
If you’re not yet a Plus member, you can upgrade at SamsClub.com/Plus. We highly recommend doing that if you intend upon taking advantage of this or other limited-time sales, as exclusive early access is par for the course, and it’s the easiest way to make this less of a hassle. There’s also the fact that this deal sold out back in April during pre-sales.
Plus Plus Plus Promo
If you’ve been on the fence about joining Sam’s Club Plus before, the good news is that there’s a separate deal on that! Right now, Walmart is offering their 1-Year Walmart+ with Sam’s Club Plus Membership on sale for $120, which is about $100 off the combined costs of Walmart+ and Sam’s Club Plus. That’s right, it’s a good ole fashioned + plus Plus promo!
Alternatively, existing Walmart+ members can switch to Walmart+ with Sam’s Club Plus for an extra $22 more a year. Current Sam’s Club regular members can also upgrade to Plus for $60 more per year. Oh, and those who are already members of both can link their accounts to receive prorated refunds! (Thanks to reader Scoop for sharing this deal with us!)
In addition to including both memberships, this is also potentially worthwhile as we enter the holiday season for the early access deals alone. It’s not just this Disney gift card sale; both Sam’s Club and Walmart will have a number of ‘gated’ deals that are only available to their members. We bought several things this way via Walmart+ last year around Black Friday.
Aside from same-day grocery delivery, Walmart+ also offers a number of random perks, like a free subscription to Paramount+ or Peacock, which is great for watching football. There’s also savings on gas, Burger King deals, and more. From my perspective, this is a no-brainer. It’s arguably better than Amazon Prime (although I’m not sure I could live without that), but gets much less attention.
We’re big fans of Walmart+ and highly recommend it. Most importantly for the purposes of this deal, having the one day head-start on buying these $300 Disney gift cards for $270 could be hugely advantageous and reduce headaches considerably. Or even make the deal possible in the first place, given the very real risk of the gift cards selling out completely during presales.
If you don’t want to join Walmart+ plus Sam’s Club Plus, that’s perfectly understandable. Yet another membership with a premium tier is a lot, and the $120 cost of this means you’re essentially saving $0 on the gift cards. In that case, though, you need to consider whether this is worth the potential/likely hassle in the first place.
Sam’s Club Spring Disney GC Deal Problems
This is actually a better deal than the one Sam’s Club offered in late April and early May 2026. However, that deal is also what gives us pause about recommending this one too enthusiastically, as it was a frustrating roller coaster ride for many members.
When the online deal book was released for the previous gift card deals, buried in the fine print was a note that gift cards would be excluded from the sale. The straightforward presentation of the deal made it look like gift cards would go live during early access, only to be excluded by an asterisk that led to a full page of footnotes on page 47 of the savings book.
Those who skimmed over the fine print were rewarded, as it turned out that Sam’s Club Plus members did get early access. We first received reports from readers at 9 p.m. back in April who bought the deal right away, and without any issues. Once word got out, Sam’s site was slammed and there were several technical difficulties. We had readers say it made Disney IT look like the gold standard, which seemed like only a half-joke.
In the end, the $500 Disney eGift Cards sold out during the Plus presale back on April 30th, and never were available to the general public on May 1st. At least, not that we saw. Some readers have reported seeing it come back in stock briefly. I did not see that myself, but wouldn’t be surprised by it. Restocks are always possible, and they have happened with Sam’s Club deals in the past.
One silver lining was that multiple readers reported success at purchasing for the $450 price at their local brick-and-mortar Sam’s Club store. This was despite the savings book specifically stating the deal was online only.
But there was also an asterisk indicating that the item was excluded from the presale, and yet, it wasn’t. That discount was not advertised on some store shelves, but was taken at the register. Our best guess was that this was an olive branch, of sorts, from Sam’s Club after all of the confusion and the gift card sold out so quickly online.
We mention all of this so you know what you’re getting yourself into. Because, honestly, this type of thing is oddly par for the course with Disney gift card deals. I’m not really even sure why. We saw something similar last week with the Google Play Fest deal. Reader comments were about a 50/50 mix of “this worked flawlessly, I bought several gift cards and saved a ton” or “I got error message after error message, walked away empty handed, and wasted an hour in the process.”
If you’re a Sam’s Club Plus member, it obviously makes sense to be online at 9 p.m. on November 5, 2026. Spend (fingers crossed) 5 minutes in order to save $120. That’s well worth it. Even if you have to check back at like 11:30 p.m. (I would not be online compulsively refreshing if the server is slammed at 9 p.m. on the dot), that pencils out on being a good return on your time.
On the other hand, being a non-Plus member refreshing repeatedly and trying to find pop-up inventory after the initial allotment sells out, or calling around stores to see if they’re honoring the deal, is a different story. It still could be worth it in this case, as the $1,200 total purchase limit is high, but I’d be more reticent to jump through hoops with other future deals that offer more limited savings.
Although the stated purchase limit is 4 per membership, you may have success with additional orders. They’re likely to get cancelled, but it’s worth a shot.
What we’ve seen in the past with Sam’s Club sales is a higher likelihood of success the earlier this orders are placed. Meaning that your best chances of exceeding the limit and actually having the gift cards delivered is as soon as it goes live.
It’s also possible that you might have success ordering on day one, and then again on a different day. Although it’s equally likely that this sells out within a few hours and is dead by November 6, 2026, never to be restocked. That happens often with Disney gift card deals, especially ones offering significant savings like this.
WDW Third Party Restaurant GC Deal
Sam’s Club will also have $100 Landry’s Gift Cards on sale for $75 as part of the same online doorbuster sale. This will likewise be available starting November 5, 2026 for Sam’s Club Plus members, followed by November 6-8, 2026 for everyone else, or while supplies last.
The gift cards are valid at Landry’s Seafood, Chart House, Saltgrass Steak House, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Claim Jumper, Morton’s The Steakhouse, and more! For our purposes, it’s the “and more” that matters. Landry’s also runs Yak & Yeti and Rainforest Cafe at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, as well as Rainforest Cafe and T-REX at Disney Springs.
Yak & Yeti is a sleeper pick at Animal Kingdom that we highly recommend. It has fallen out of favor in the last decade, but not because of anything about the restaurant. It’s only because we prefer Tiffins, Nomad Lounge, and Satu’li Canteen–and spend the least time at Animal Kingdom out of any park at Walt Disney World.
One thing to note is that there are occasionally better deals on Landry’s gift cards. Closer to Christmas last year, $100 Landry’s gift cards were on sale for $65, also at Sam’s Club. Obviously, there’s no guarantee of that repeating, just wanted to mention that deeper discounts do happen.
Keeping Track of Disney GCs
As noted above, we subscribe to the “it all adds up” mantra, and this deal will make a meaningful contribution towards paying for a Walt Disney World, Disneyland, or Disney Cruise Line vacation. Good luck taking advantage–let us know in the comments if you run into any issues, or share your successes!
Speaking of it all adding up, we also highly recommend combining Disney gift cards so you don’t have a wallet or purse filled with a dozen different ones, and you have to make multiple scans at each cash register to figure out which ones still have a balance. Disney gift cards can be combined via Disney’s online management tool under “My Cards.”
You can also use that to check balances. That might save yourself some embarrassment so you’re not trying to pay for something with multiple gift cards with balances under $1, while a line forms behind you. Not that I speak from experience or anything.
Not only that, but gift cards are easier than ever to use in the parks. The My Disney Experience (MDX) app for Walt Disney World and the Disneyland app now save gift cards as payment methods! This change took effect in June, and is an absolute game-changer, especially for Mobile Order (far and away my top use case).
As my fellow hoarders/hackers/collectors are no doubt aware, gift cards could not be saved to your wallet as an in-app payment method in the past. You had to manually enter the gift card information during checkout each and every single time. It was tedious and time-consuming.
That’s no longer the case. To save your Disney Gift Card in either app, click the hamburger button (three horizontal lines) on the bottom right corner of the app, then scroll down past the tiles to the “Account” section and click “MyDisney Wallet” (right below “Profile”). This wallet is the same as the online management tool above, so either method works. (See Big Win for Discount Disney Gift Card Hoarders for more.)
For those who are unfamiliar with this type of deal, fans love buying discount Disney gift cards because it’s an easy hack to save ~10% off almost everything on vacation. Disney Gift Cards are redeemable at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures by Disney, Disney Store US locations, DisneyStore.com, and beyond.
You can use Disney Gift Cards for almost anything parks-related, including but not limited to theme park tickets, hotel stays, merchandise, restaurants, Lightning Lanes, and even at some participating third party locations (e.g. stores and restaurants at Disney Springs and Downtown Disney).
You can use the gift cards online at Disneyworld.com or Disneyland.com when booking trips, as well as in the respective apps when placing Mobile Orders, etc. Basically, you can use these gift cards for almost anything at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and beyond. There are some odd and random exceptions to this, but they’re almost as good as a regular credit card or currency.

Your Thoughts
What do you think of the Sam’s Club Disney Gift Card Deals for November 2026? Are the 10% off or $120 savings “good enough” for you given the time of year? Has anyone done the math on how this interacts with the Walmart+ benefit included with Platinum AmEx?
I didn’t go through with linking my Walmart+ and SamsClub+ because I can’t imagine the value is better than the Walmart+ included, but I’m also having troubling figuring out how to check that math.
I got GC from Sam’s and Target when they came out last time and was glad I did. We used the GC’s for food. It was worth the purchase. I am definitely going to purchase these. I just received the email from Sam’s about the plan now being linked to Walmart. SO it’s a nice addition for when we get groceries when we stay at Disney.
Before our last trip we purchased many discounted gift cards to use in the park. The biggest discount I found was 10% off (minus the free money glitch-we did get those). But once we were in the park we could not receive our 10% off purchases discount for our Disney Visa, unless we paid with the Visa itself. Even with the Disney Visa loaded in the Disney App as our payment form, they would only give us the discount if we presented and swiped the actual Disney Visa card. It seems in the past I could just show my Disney Visa and use a GC to pay and still get the discount.
So now I am thinking…If I naturally get 10% off my purchases just using my Disney Visa card, it seems a little bit of a waste of time to hunt for GCs for future trips. Additionally, any purchases on the Disney Visa card in the Disney Parks earns me 3% cash back that I can turn around and pay myself back for my purchases in the Parks. If I use a GC for purchases in the park I am just getting the flat 10% and using a lot of energy chasing deals.
At least this is where my brain is currently leaning toward. I would love it if someone could correct me on this and help me justify trying discount GC hunting again.
I don’t think your thinking is wrong. If your purchases would get 10% discount anyway (plus other benefits of using credit card), then you are not gaining much by getting the gift cards. But it does assume that *all* purchases you make are subject to the Disney Visa 10% discount, which might not be true. Snack carts, for example, do not get them and not all restaurants get them. Tom even did a post recently explaining that soda bottles from shops now get no discount, to make that similar to soda bottles at the carts.
Smaller denomination limit than the Sam’s Club deal, but I find the Meijer MPerks deal to be the best. They run it multiple times a year, often during the holidays. The current one goes thru 10/27. But you can get 10,000 MPerks points per $100 gift card, and I take the savings at the pump because you can buy $1 off per gallon for 10,000 points. My tank is over 20 gallons, so I consider that a 20% plus discount. While not direct cash back in my pocket on a discounted gift card price, but it works great for us.
If you spot anything which might be open to those of us in the UK, that would be lovely… we’ll be coming to Florida the day after Thanksgiving, and always love a bargain!
Hi Tom,
Just FYI, your site always crashes on my phone now (this has been true for every article I have read in recent days), while it never did before. I suspect that a change in how the ads are embedded is the culprit, but I’m not sure.
Thanks,
Jeff
Same for me. I’ll be in the middle of reading and all of a sudden I’m back at the top of the article. It’s been doing this in my phone for years but it’s just getting worse.
Do Disney gift cards work at Hong Kong Disney and/or Shanghai Disney? We are planning a trip to both in Feb. Thank you!
They do not, sadly. Only US parks (and DCL, I believe).
:-Q I did not know there was a “wallet” in the app! Thanks for that pearl of wisdom! Will it show up when it comes time to paying hotel room balances? Thank you.
When it says the deal opens to the public on November 6, does that mean at midnight? Or is it 9 pm to be consistent with the November 5 release to members? In other words, are members getting just a 3-hour head start or a full day (or something else)?
I pay my DVC dues with Disney Gift Cards. So every deal is a no-brainer for me. Thank you for another ‘cash-in-pocket’ article.
I don’t have a Sam’s Club located particularly near me, so I hope these deals are replicated at Costco/Target/etc. I do have coworkers that have memberships to Sams Club, but 10% isn’t enough to make me jump through the hoops of having a coworker buy GCs for me.
